Ariana Grande Shocks Fan With Surprise Duet: 'Made A Friend'

Ariana Grande is making dreams come true.

The "We Can't Be Friends" singer recently surprised a fan who was singing along to one of her songs by joining in on the fun, per People. She shared a video to her Instagram Stories of her riding in the backseat of a car when the vehicle stopped next to another car where the driver was listening to her song "Imagine," from her 2019 album Thank U, Next.

After the two showed off her vocal prowess, Grande told the fan — Edwin — "I was like, 'How is this real? Is that me?' This made my day!"

Edwin also shouted out his love for the Eternal Sunshine musician, gushing, "Oh my god, I adore you. I can't believe... I'm this close to you!"

"made a friend," Grande wrote over the video. "I couldn't believe my ears !!!!! it was blasting thank you Edwin for making my day... i'm still crying."

Grande is preparing for the release of her new movie Wicked, in theaters November 22, and recently recreated a hilarious viral video of an argument debating who is considered a witch in the original 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz. She also shared the surprising way she was "forever changed" by her role in the upcoming film.
