Starting October 1st, Getty Images will no longer be accepting photos that depict models whose “body shapes have been retouched to make them look thinner or larger.”  They will still allow photos featuring alterations of things like hair color, nose shape, skin and blemishes.  They say now more than ever it’s “important to produce and promote a visual language that is progressive and inclusive.”

It’s no secret that American seem to have an obsession with that delicious Hazelnut spread Nutella, and while it does seem like everything tastes better with a little dollop of the stuff.  Well apparently there’s another spread out there those people may prefer and it sounds pretty stinkin’ delicious. Believe it or not, a Twix spread exists. That’s right the yummy chocolate/cookie/caramel candy bar has been turned into a chocolate/caramel spread, complete with cookie/biscuit pieces.  Unfortunately, if Americans want to get their hands on this tasty goodness, and let’s face it, who wouldn’t, they’re going to have to fly overseas. So far it’s only available in the UK, but if you’re desperate, you could always pay through the nose to have it delivered internationally. Or hit up eBay...because you can buy almost anything there!

Everyone handles stress differently and for some, nothing beats a shopping spree to help them calm down. And science says there are actually certain products people are more likely to buy when they’re feeling out of control. You might have guessed shoes would be at the top of the list, but according to a new study, cleaning products are what we tend to buy when we’re feeling stressed.

Researchers had participants write an essay about a time they felt in control of a situation and others write about a time when they felt they had no control over something. Then they were told to go grocery shopping. And a review of their receipts showed those who wrote about feeling out of control bought twice the amount of cleaning supplies as the others.

These folks weren’t indulging in luxury items, they were buying utilitarian stuff like cleansers, tools, and stationery to feel calm. Researchers say that’s because those products have an association with problem-solving and self-control. That’s also why we might find ourselves taking out our frustration or anxiety on the dirty dishes after a bad day.

So when you need a little retail therapy and you end up buying cleaning products, at least it’s a practical purchase. And if scrubbing the floor makes you feel better, that’s a pretty healthy coping mechanism, all things considered.

When you hear the phrase “Baby Botox,” it sounds shocking. But even as much as everyone’s obsessed with youth, this isn’t as bad as it sounds. We can reassure you that Baby Botox is not an anti-wrinkle treatment for babies, thank goodness.

So what is Baby Botox? It turns out, it’s just a cutesy name for a lighter Botox treatment - for adults! The idea is to use less of the stuff so you end up with softer lines but not a loss of movement or expression - we’ve all been frightened by a real life frozen-faced, over-Botoxed person before (we’re looking at you, Nicole Kidman).

But with Baby Botox, the licensed practitioner only injects a “tiny, barely noticeable amount” of it. And it gives a subtly, refreshed look - so you still look natural. The downside is that the results don’t last as long, so users will need to go back more frequently for treatments than you would with regular Botox. But it’s got to be worth it to still look like yourself and be able to show emotions, right?
